Meet Chef Robbie

Hi, I’m Chef Robbie — founder of Mini Chef Academy.

Mini Chef Academy was started with one simple mission: help kids become confident, healthy, and independent in the kitchen while having a lot of fun along the way.

Before building Mini Chef Academy, I worked as a classroom teacher and instructional aide in elementary schools. I hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and am a certified Pre-K–4 educator in Pennsylvania.

Over the years, I’ve worked with children of many ages and learning styles, and I believe the best learning happens when kids are engaged, encouraged, and hands-on.

Cooking brings together so many important life skills:

  • Confidence

  • Creativity

  • Teamwork

  • Healthy habits

  • Problem solving

  • Independence

At Mini Chef Academy, our classes are designed to feel exciting, welcoming, and age-appropriate. Whether we’re learning knife safety, exploring a new fruit, rolling sushi, or making homemade pasta, the goal is always the same: help kids feel proud of what they can create.

Safety & Professionalism

Families trust us with their children, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Mini Chef Academy:

  • Is fully insured

  • Maintains all required background checks and clearances

  • Follows strong kitchen safety procedures

  • Uses structured, kid-friendly instruction

  • Creates a positive and inclusive learning environment

More Than Just Cooking

Mini Chef Academy is about building lifelong skills and healthy relationships with food. We want children to try new things, ask questions, work together, and discover that cooking can be joyful — not stressful.

Whether through school programs, camps, private lessons, birthday parties, or online content, our goal is to inspire the next generation of confident mini chefs.

See you in the kitchen!

Chef Robbie
